(Rating system 1-10)

Philly's newest talented rapper Kir releases his mixtape loaded with 19 tracks. Kir's spit game is fiery with a lot of energy and the flow is on point. He clearly gives you a perfect example of his style on the standout song "Intro (Paranoia)", the beat is up tempo with hard drums with Kir spazzing out with dope bars. The whole mixtape has top notch production, it almost gives you sound of an finished album. I like that Kir has the ability to make complete songs filled with real content, like on the song "Let Up" he raps: thinking of them times when it was real/ when we couldn't pay the bills/ daddy was stuck on the corner/ cousin fighting for appeal/ trap in the hallway, make me think  bout it all day/ feel bad about these short comings but this steady grindin make it all go away.
Those bars come from pain and hunger and Kir makes you feel those emotions through that song. The song "Commemoration" is just hard with Kir coming hard at opposing rappers, on this song he really shows his lyrically cadence can be superior. After fully listening to the mixtape, I was impressed by Kir's talent to make solid original songs and his flow. The only knock on this mixtape is that, it's too many songs for a new up and coming artist. Make sure ya'll go download or stream this new and exciting mixtape available on Datpiff.
